A question we get asked a lot is “Is your venue LGBTQ+ friendly?” And honestly friends, it hurts our hearts that you feel the need to ask! The answer is YES, but we do understand why some guests do feel the need to ask. We strive to be inclusive of all love at our venue and to make all of our guests comfortable to be their authentic selves.
We want everyone to be able to make their dream events come to life at The Hidden Porch! Some things that we have that help us to do that are signage and decor with inclusive language, neutral colors/decor in our dressing suites, and diverse wedding photos throughout our chapel and office to let our guests know that their love is important, not only to them, but to us as well.
One thing that is very important to us at The Porch is not only all of our staff being inclusive but our vendors as well. Our vendor list is completely full of allies and members of the LGBTQ+ community. We want our guests to feel comfortable in every aspect of their event including their catering, photography, music, bar tending, and more! Everyone deserves their day to be magical, and we want to make that happen for everyone!
